About Python Weekend

If you want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you: we are holding a three-days workshop for beginners!

The Workshop is free of charge and if you cannot afford coming to Abuja but are very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others, we may have some funds to help you out with your travel costs and accommodation.

Don't wait too long: you can apply for the workshop only until 10th of March 2020!

Apply for the Workshop

If you have a laptop, you can apply for our event!

You don't need to know any technical stuff – our workshop is for people who are new to programming.

We welcome applications from everyone.

As a workshop attendee you will:

  • attend a three-days workshop during which you will create your first website using HTML, CSS, Python and Django.
  • be fed by us: during this event, food is provided

    Get involved!

This workshop is part of bigger initiative and a social responsibility project to be organized by volunteers in different places of the world for the development of Africa.

If you want to bring Python Weekend to your city, drop us a line.

We couldn't be here without the support from amazing people and organizations who donated money, knowledge and time to help us make this a reality. If you want to contribute to future events and support our goal, please get in touch.
